Discovering how to Discover

How do we Discover? What divine force moves those great men throughout history to push their minds and bodies, their funds and their patience to the utmost limit? More than that, what is that little thing that separates the hundreds of others who have dedicated themselves to the same task and failed from that “genius” who succeeds? Pure luck seems a bit of a longshot and divine intervention a bit far-fetched, so we need to retreat to fact- The ones who succeed are the ones who look everywhere, the ones willing to take the mad risk or make the seemingly inane connection.
We use the word Discover because, while a passive one it also implies the active, that one was looking, seeking and never giving up.
