Pillow Fighting

Getting out of bed can be one of the hardest decisions that you make. Not every morning and maybe not every week. Possibly you don’t even think about it anymore. Yet if you’re honest and truthful with yourself you know that there was some point, some cross-roads where you considered the idea of lying in bed all day. Some people do this. Some people even do it all the time. Some, when that challenge is raised, vow never to succumb to the temptation and stick by their oath.

Most of us are less extreme- we fight the battle of the bed more frequently and, sometimes, we lose. The thing to remember when you wake up from that decadent pleasure, late or missing work, harried, is that you made a choice. You decided to laze in bed and now you’re paying for it. All Decisions are there to help us progress in life, even if it’s the realization that you never want to decide that way again.

I get up at 5:30am. I used to sleep until 8am. It took me about 2 weeks to get over the need to roll over or press the snooze button. Now it’s a easy!
