What was the last time you took notes? I don’t mean little ideas jotted down at a meeting or a phone number on a scrap of paper. I’m talking about a full-on, college ruled, spiral notebook with separate sections for subjects? Long time? Well maybe it’s time to start again.

You see, Wisdom should be any useful knowledge you’ve ever heard, but for most of us the stuff we focus on the hardest is what we end up thinking is important and remembering. That’s why there’s so many strange and useless facts banging around in that old head of yours; it’s stuff you took notes on in college or high school or something you wrote a paper on or did a study of.

So the next time you want to make sure you don’t miss an idea at a brainstorming session or that no mistakes are made at a meeting, dig up your old notebooks and press them back into service- You may end up looking odd but you’ll probably also end up adding to your store of knowledge, so you won’t regret it.
