There are many myths and legends out there that have inspired people to seek something. There is the Philosopher’s Stone and the Knights Templar, the coming of the Messiah and the secrets of the pyramids. No one has, as of yet, actually “solved” any of these to the point of bringing about changes to the world, but many who have sought them have Discovered other things.

One of the beauties of discovery is  the way it can sneak up on you, how a major breakthrough can come about that is only tangential to the true purpose of the search. When you dedicate yourself to learning, to the exploration of knowledge, you open yourself up to the opportunity of finding something new.

So go ahead and chase the impossible, just make sure that while you’re collecting the information about that secret hay wagon that transported the Templars you aren’t missing anything that could lead to a new understanding of history or science.
