There are 150 some blocks of oceanfront in Ocean City, and that is the primary attraction. Starting at the southern most point of the peninsula is a group of interest points including Trimpers Amusement Park, the Ocean City Fishing Pier, the Life-Saving Museum and the Boardwalk.
The Boardwalk runs from S. 2nd Street to 27th Street. Within these 30 blocks are 2.9 miles of seemingly hundreds of souvenir and novelty shops, restaurants, and hotels. Off the beach there are numerous manufactured forms of entertainment, including miniature golf courses, go cart tracks, and water attractions. Ocean City is also becoming a golfing destination, currently with 10 area courses and more on the way.
