City Club at De Rosset- Built in 1841 by Dr. Armond John de Rosset III, one of Wilmington's most prominent citizens at that time, the house is a fine example of the Greek Revival style. It sits atop a knoll in the heart of the historic district, with views over its terraced gardens of the Cape Fear River. The mansion was completely restored in 1998, and is now the home of the City Club at de Rosset, a private club for members only. However, it also includes six luxury suites available to the discerning traveler.
