Charleston offers a wide range of hotels, as well as other, accommodations. There are single bedrooms in historic houses, larger bed and breakfasts, historic inns, chain hotels with pretensions to grandeur, and even a range of budget hotels. Staying in the Charleston historic district adds significantly to the cost, but the atmosphere is very nice. If cost is a concern, try visiting in the low seasons (winter & mid-summer), or travel a few miles to North Charleston on I-26 to find budget hotels in the $29-$69 range. In town expect to pay at least $89. eGO has inspected all of the accommodations listed on this page, and believe all offer good value.
